Obama's next move:drilling in the coastal regions of the U.S.

After victory with the health care plan. Obama is refueled and energized back to continue to fill plans on his agenda. After many years of record high gas prices, Obama wants to change that by allowing seaward drilling. His plan is to lift bans to allow drilling from Delaware to central Florida and northern water of Alaska.Obama believes that we need to drill for oil and not just ignore because the need for energy sources. But that doesn't mean he wants to drill everywhere just certain places. He very much wants support from both sides. He wants the Republics to know that he is willing to work with on this issue and the many to come. But the Republics probably need no convincing as the Republican Senate leader praised Obama, saying "it's a step in the right direction." Obama's plan requires for Congress to lift a drilling ban.

Childhood obesity

The First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, is no stranger to childhood obesity. More than 30% of American adults and 16% of children are obese (Center for Disease Control and Prevention). Obesity results to many other diseases such as heart diseases, cancer, and diabetes. And Michelle Obama knows how it feels to have to worry about your children falling in this cycle. She has two daughters of her own who like other children their age probably like eating junk food. The family pediatrician warned that they had gained a lot of weight promoting the family to see their physician to start a healthier life. They had success in maintaining that lifestyle. According to the Journal of American Geriatric Society, women who didn't exercise were twice as like to die than those who did. Being physically dependent for elder when they reach 80 is more likely to happen to elders who are overweight than those who are lower. Obesity is an epidemic in America endangering many lives and fixing it will not be easy, but it will be worthy.

Boy Burned Alive
A 15 year old teen from south Florida experienced something which most people would find shocking but also amazed that someone could survive such a horrible act. Michael Brewer lived his life like any other teen his aged and even the occasional borrowing money from someone. Michael owned one of the suspects, who attended the same school, money for a video game. Therefore, in return the suspect stole Michael's father's bicycle for the money. Right after he noticed his dad's bicycle was missing he reported it to the police as stolen. Landing the suspect in a detention center. The suspect was released early Monday; therefore, Michael and the suspect did not attend school that day. Later that day the suspect spotted Michael and approached him with his friends. The suspect and his friends poured on him rubbing alcohol then light him on fire. A resident spotted the burning teen and put out the flames with a fire extinguisher. Then the the victim jumped in the pool of the apartment complex. He was taken immediately to the hospital with severe burns to most of his body. All I have to say is that the suspects were hypercritical. They should have know better than to set on fire a living human being for $40 or any type of money. I totally feel sympathy for Michael and his family .
