New England Flood

Blog #7

New England just had a flood to weeks ago and now on Tuesday morning isn't the same thing over again. The flood was the worst in 200 years causing many businesses in West Warwick, Rhode Island to close permanently. Even the Security Secretary Janet Napoltino will visit to what has been damaged. These new floods have been the worst they residents of New England have seen: bridges and highways were washed from Maine to Connecticut and sewage systems were overwhelmed. Other damages such as homes and vehicles begin washed into the Pawtuxet River. A stretch of the 95 in Rhode Island was closed off. Many people worry of the bill this flood will cost. And in this economic downfall things could be worse.
